Sciences

  • Integrated Science: Introduction to the scientific method, safety in the laboratory, basic biology, chemistry, and physics concepts.


Languages

  • English: Grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and creative writing.

  • Kiswahili: Sarufi (grammar), insha writing, oral literature, and vocabulary building.


Mathematics

  • Number operations, BODMAS, fractions, percentages, algebraic expressions, and geometry basics.


Humanities

  • Geography: The Earth and the solar system, weather and climate, and introduction to maps.

  • History & Government: Early man, development of agriculture, and the origin of communities in Kenya.

  • CRE: Biblical creation stories, attributes of God, and living in harmony with others.


Applied and Technical Subjects

  • Business Studies: Introduction to business, needs vs. wants, and forms of business units.

  • Home Science: Personal hygiene, nutrition, and basic home management.

  • Agriculture: Importance of agriculture, soil types, and simple farming practices.

  • Physical Education (PE): Fitness, coordination, and participation in games and athletics.
