At Kagumo Girls Secondary School, Form One selection is primarily based on academic merit as reflected in the KCPE examination results. Students who attain high marks and list Kagumo Girls as their first-choice school are given top priority during the admission process. In addition, the school considers students from disadvantaged backgrounds through a needs-based selection, where the financial status of a student’s family is taken into account to promote equal access to quality education.
